Happy on Huntington

Good evening!!  Or whatever time it is where you are.  Or when you’re reading this.  If you’re reading this.  Hi.  Do you want to know what was making me happy on Saturday, January 14th, 2012?  It doesn’t matter, because I’m going to tell you no matter what.

Cute parents with cute kids.

Getting a surprise 50% off at Old Navy.  I got $30 jeggings for less than $12!!  

(And they’re totally acceptable.)

Crazy friends who understand each other’s crazy.

Discussing anime porn with one of my coworkers.

And finding out that we liked the same explicit (but not hentai) show.

(I don’t know if she’s actually seen straight-up hentai, but I wouldn’t be too surprised I guess…)

Some dude who gave me a cheesy line while I was at work.  This was our exchange: “Hi.” “Hi How are you?” “Better after seeing you.”  He didn’t appear homeless, so it’s an improvement over the people who usually hit on me.  Although he coulda been.

Deli/sandwich shop workers who give you substitutions if you don’t want one of the ingredients in a pre-defined sangwich.

My sense of humor.  Without it, I’d be so sad.  Possibly dead.

When I get assigned a call at work but someone else volunteers to take it and I get to continue whatever I was doing before.
